A lot of you have expressed interest in pattern and ornamentation and including it in your work. This weekend I took a few hours to try to get some of my office space under control and I came across a book that was recommended to me when I was using a lot of ornamentation in my work and writing a paper about it so I thought I'd share it: Reading In Detail Aesthetics and the Feminine by Naomi Schor. Add it to your Summer Reading List! Also look up the pattern and decoration art movement. I have a bibliography somewhere......
