AnAtomic Factory- Italian Design Collective

Great article in the Thursday Times about Ikeahackers which profiled the AnAtomic Factory design collective based in Florence, Italy. The Syn chair (red dots) reminds me of one of Anne's ideas from class on Thursday. Nata Vintage chair shares some ideological territory with the Droog mentality. It is functional+. Is it sculpture? Only if it isn't used for sitting. The tea bag idea is interesting and the image of the satchel open with all of the individual tea bags in place reminds me of beautiful Japanese packaging...gorgeous arrangements of elements. The pendant solves a frequent dilemma of integrating the hanging mechanisms with the object itself....here it is seamless. Lots of other great ideas on their website...check it out.
